wow its been a while

yeah i know its been a while but hey i have been really busy...well i guess not that busy but oh well you really don't need to hear me argue with myself. so my friend Jess has been in the health center with a flu type thing so it has been just me and brie. which is ok you know but i miss Jess. no offense brie i love you dearly, love, but you know that the group isn't the same with out Jess to "referee" us. i was very disappointed the other day when brie and i wanted to go to a coffee shop in town to study and hang out for a while, alas when we got there we found out that it was closed. not just closed for the night it was gone, no more. but i guess it was ok we went to culvers and had ice cream and got $1 butter burgers...yummy:) any way so we have this collaboration project in MIS that is the funnest group project thing that i have ever done. the teacher divided the class into like nine or ten groups so there is only four or five in each group. gave us a real life senerio i guess is what you would call it. we have to come up with a solution but the only time we could talk to our group face to face was that day in class. all other communication has to be though e-mail, text, or phone calls. and we had a week to do it. it was really hard because Jess is in my class and in my group and i see her all the time but i cant talk to her about the project:(

classes are going well though i think. I have no idea what posessed me to take so many computer classes though. i spend much of my free time in the computer lab working on typing homework,which kills my wrist. but que sera, sera. live and learn they say...i am working on that concept...lol

so if you all could pray for my cousin she is having some problems that i am not going to talk about right now cuz that will make me cry...she is gone astray so to speak and needs prayer more than anything else right now.

Oh on a lighter note...a big prayer request was answered. my parents are working on a church building in NYC and they needed to get the boilers inspected to get heat in the building. they have been waiting a long time to get an inspection scheduled and they finally did. it is for tomorrow at 9a.m. and then after that they need to get the certificate of occupancy so that the church can start meeting in there.

well i guess that is about all for right now. i am getting more and more excited about spring break...i know but i don't really care for school that much
i love to learn but i don't like book learning that much, i think i am more of a hands on person. which is why i like my computer classes but don't like all the homework that goes with it. :)
