...so I have been listening to this radio station K-Love. They only play Christian music, and it has really been an encouragement to me. Instead of setting New Year's resolutions the djs have picked a word to be sort of their focus for the year. In listening to them talking about all the things that they learned or new habits they developed as a result of the word they chose. So, I decided to choose a word for the year myself. My word is "faith." I am praying that God will use this word in my life this year to help me to be more faithful to Him, and to have more faith in Him. I know those two sound the same but to me they aren't as similar as you may think. I would like to be more faithful to God in my daily life and walk with Him, and to be faithful in my daily devotions. I would also would like to have more faith in God, that He will do for me what He says He will in the Bible.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebrews 11:1-3
